Ball State 64, Bowling Green 59. BSU has a 4-game winning streak and 6 of the last 7 games and are up to 6-3 in the MAC and 12-9 overall. Definitely an improvement over where they were a few years ago after the Ronny Thompson disaster.

hawkeye, i like you, but you're trolling in pretty much every way. you come on here and call mccamey names and refer to the illini program in a discourteous manner just to stir things up. when illini fans get defensive, you call them homers when nothing really could be farther from the truth. i don't think anyone has been harder on our coach and team this year than illini fans. i routinely rip on mike tisdale and davis, cole, and keller, illiniguy is obsessed with how bad of a coach weber is, SSR is harder on the team than anyone.

Oh I know it. It was frustration from sitting through another Big Ten loss where we felt like the road team in a home game.

All that aside, McCamey is a hell of a nice player and I would kill to have him at Iowa but I wouldn't put him in the top 10 this year and would take Lucas and Battle over him. Hughes is close because I think he's a better defender.

As far as McCamey's play last night, imagine you were playing Purdue and Kramer rolled around slamming the floor like he had a broken nose. Then when the officials should have let it play out, they blow the whistle while we have a 5 on 4 and he immediately gets up, walks down the court perfectly fine and never leaves the game.

no worries, i do the same thing. and for the record, the turdue nancies are the biggest homers on this board.

First time in eight years.

I still contend that Verdell Jones is a lot better than many say. I've always disagreed with the assessment that he's only playing so much because he plays at IU. He has his bonehead moments, but IU would be lost without him.

Apparently, that makes you crazy to even suggest a thing.

Bruno didn't suggest that Jones is as good as one of the best players in the Big Ten.

Big win for UCD tonight in kicking the crap out of Cal Poly. They played a great game.

Let's not bring up bad memories.

Says the guy who is probably the worst out of everyone. I haven't posted in or read this thread too much the last couple weeks but from what I see Illinois runs away with it and its not even close.

sulley's not a homer. He's an drama queen who whines like a team of mules, but he's no homer. At least not in the "I'm going to act like my team is way better than it actually is" sort of way. I'm pretty sure the vast majority of us have been pretty understated this season, for obvious reasons. In fact most of us have been decidedly down on the Illini.

And I'm pretty sure you have the market cornered for outlandishly homeristic claims regarding favorite cbb teams.

I told you guys I thought he acted like a total punk when I saw him at Iowa. For a guy who really doesn't do much, he talked 100x more than anyone else on the court. He thinks he's the ish. It's funny they have 3 NBA players who carry themselves the right way and I really like watching them play. Then they have two clowns who aren't even good.

Barlow's been a punk since the beginning of the season. Painter's had to reel him in a few times, and it doesn't seem the message is getting through. It's unfortunate, since the kid has quite a bit of talent.

C'mon now, you know better than that.

Check out da bum's treatise on Robbie Hummell and how Purdue and IU are the clear cut best teams in the Big Ten historically.

Yeah, but he's not the only Purdue fan here. I can think of a handful of others.

Bum might be a homer, but don't let him cloud your opinion of all Purdue fans on this board.

And you completely misinterpreted one line from a full paragraph post. I said Jones is the NEXT Talor Battle. That was the end of the sentence, and end of the thought.

Never said that he IS as good. I even explained he's a guy that wasn't highly recruited that will come out of nowhere and could be one of the top 5 scorers in the conference next year.

Honestly, the Illinois fans are the biggest bunch of self-loathing pricks on this board. Calling us homers is hilarious.

I honestly wonder some times if you even enjoy the games. I read several posts and then get really confused when I look it up and see U of I is up by 15.

I wouldn't call Illini fans on here homers either, the "prick" part is very accurate though.

That couldn't have been this year then. I don't remember being up 15.

TT is right. If you read this thread, you'd think UI had lost every game this year. I wonder if it's a byproduct of everyone being Cubs fans, too. I know I'm generally a pessimistic fan across the board.

hahaha we need a three and the worst shooter on the team takes it. what a pathetic loss. that hurts in re: to making the tournament

Yes, I was very mad last night. I would rather that Bowers took the shot. At the time English, Dixon and Denmon were all on the court. In no way should the shot have been taken by Tiller, much less a contested shot.

Hey Mizzou fans is your 5 Star recruit gonna qualify? I know that it was kind of an issue earlier.

I haven't heard anything other than speculation, but based on our luck with 5-star commits in sports lately, it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't.

ISU actually played well today. If they would've shot a reasonable percentage from 3 they had a chance to beat K-State. They're still gonna get murdered @Mizzou and @Kansas though.
