Pivetta looked really bad. Unfortunately Pete and Bregman couldn’t be pressing more, and that’s really bad.

Pivetta looked pretty good to me.

Crowd is insane. Cubs horsefeathers the bed taking this on the road lol.

3 weeks ago Counsell said he was resting his players because the division was out of reach. Well the Cubs lost the division and home field in the WC round.

Literally the same exact sequence from our top three hitters last night. PCA with the strikeout, followed by Bregman strikeout followed by a hard ground out to first base. Just a wonderful start. If they don’t get the crowd out of this game, this is gonna be over by the third inning.

The crowd has been a huge factor it seems.  They really needed that homefield.

Yeah, those high misses with the fastball were strategic. They set up the curve.

Pivetta looks hittable. They can get something going against him. He left FB over the middle two or three times in the 1st. Someon will tag one.

Middle middle to PCA and Bregman, the 1-2 fastball to PCA couldn’t have been designed to be anywhere near the zone, and I don’t think a typical out pitch is a thigh high curveball on the inside corner to a LHH. Lot of uncompetitive pitches and was not hitting the glove. But, to your point, two Ks. We’ll see.

Disgusting strike 3 pitch to Seiya. Filthy.

Just so annoying how these guys have been damn near perfect on so many pitches, mostly because we don't have a single pitcher who can match that
