They have a chance at passing the 2008 Cubs with 855 runs, which would be the record besides 4 teams from the 1800s and the 1929/1930 teams.

Correct. They went 6-1 against Philly and 5-1 against San Diego. Very likely won't matter but they went 4-2 against Arizona also.
