Hoby Milner pitched a rehab game Saturday, his 6th, and was back at the park yesterday, so he'll presumably be activated today.

Palencia pitched Sunday, his 5th, and so we could reasonably see him back tomorrow but it's possible he gets one more outing and joins the team in Seattle.

My guess is they will both be back today. Problem is, who do they replace? Probably won’t be replacing a guy who threw yesterday so they are adding a fresh arm. My guess is between Thornton, Civale and Assad, two will not be in uniform today.

Not sure I trust him but Levine said Milner was going back out to continue his rehab. He along with Shaw were in town visiting cubs staff. Did I miss a Harvey update thought he was on the same timetable as Shelby Miller.

Sounds like Bryan Hudson to open for the White Sox, who is good but hasn't gone more than an inning in a month.

Then Erick Fedde. Who is absolutely terrible.

Hicks and Hagen Smith are probably down for tonight. The rest of the pen is in better shape than last night, but still need to remember that their top guy is going to open so they'll be a guy short on the back end.

Oh interesting.  I previously kind of wondered if they were going to slow play Milner's rehab for roster flexibility reasons (they did similar with Brasier in the second half last year), but when he was at the field yesterday I assumed that was out the window.

And yeah there was a pocket of positive Harvey updates a few weeks ago that made it sound like he might be back here in August, but it's been radio silence since.  He's either going out for a rehab imminently or quietly had a setback.

Harvey is still in Arizona ramping it up with harder throws and more pitches for the next 2 weeks before they decide if hes ready for a rehab assignment.

Shelby Miller is playing in AA, but they want him to go in back to back games first before deciding if hes ready to be activated.

Steele is working his way back in bullpen sessions, he still hasn't ramped it up yet or faced live batters. He likely wont be someone to count on for this season,  maybe gets activated late in September for a couple games out of bullpen.

Milner will be activated soon

Palencia will likely get 1 or 2 more rehab outings,  hopefully he'll be back by next weekend.

Shaw will start rehab tomorrow with Iowa

I completely forgot Mariotti even existed. God it's hard to choose who to root for between two people who suck as much as Steve Stone and jay Mariotti.

I mean we experienced the euphoria of shaving 30 losses from one year to the next but we actually won 97 and had the 3rd best record in baseball. The Sox will be lucky to win 90 in the worst league in several decades.

They deserve some credit for their turnaround but they play in a cupcake division and it's a joke they'll likely finish with the 2 seed. Their pitching sucks and their offense is too reliant on HRs. They'll be exposed in the playoffs once they  play a team with good pitching. The Tigers could have caught them if they didn't sell. They have the 2nd best RD in the AL

Supposed to Storm between 7-9 tonight,  hate to start the game and lose Gausman during a delay.  Wouldn't matter for Sox , theyre going with an opener.

Right that actually provides an advantage to a bullpen day team.

Hopefully we can get pretty far into the game before the rain.

Sox will win 85 but get a bye.

AL is hot garbage

Let's not go crazy...the Sox won't win 85 games.

I don’t think weathers gonna be an issue for the game tonight

That would be great.
