Ayers has a couple days left to impress in Iowa before he gets called up.

If he clears waivers and is released it would be fun having Suarez off the bench.

Just to have him work with Jerry Weinstein for a month in Chicago makes theroster crunch worth it. Even if the bat doesn't play immediately his defense and speed make him a weapon off the bench.

Not having to face Martel for whatever reason he is out for is a nice win this week.
