Caught a bit of Counsell on radio pregame,  sounds like Garrett going to be eased back because he hasn’t pitched much this year (4 innings), they want to build him up.

So, probably get a few games in Iowa this month and come up in September to get some bullpen innings in, they really dont need him as a starter this year.

I don't think it's a 'building up' situation as much as it's 'blew up in his 2 major league starts and his been mostly fine in AAA until blowing up his last two AAA starts'
