Can anyone explain why they keep throwing breaking balls up in the zone to Mike Yaz? Every pitch he has done damage on has been a spinner up and in the middle of the zone. Really bad.

How can you not love that little round fella?

Well you take one of the two best bats out of the lineup early so you lose flexibility later in the game as well. Also, up 5-1 is a great time for him to get more ABs against lefties. It is short-sighted.

I am sick and tired of Ballesteros getting Ph for in the 5th and 6th innings.
