The pitching staff is bad enough to make me forget about the fact that the Cubs are being shut out through 5 innings against a bad pitcher.

I am getting close to checking out for the season tbh . The sad thing is that when the Cubs suck , I don’t watch baseball and with the lockout coming , it’s harder to check out .    I don’t see any solution to this  . The pitching staff is just atrocious .

What also sucks about these games being Blowouts early is that if you choose to keep watching you have to listen to and deal with the booth and Taylor saying and doing stupid shitt to keep you entertained 🤣

Idk how you don’t see this roster and immediately fire Hoyer. This is by far the worst team in MLB. Even watching like Rockies etc, they look worlds beyond what this team is. The talent disparity is terrifying.

This team is playing terrible baseball right now but if you actually think this, I'm not even sure what to say to you.

They should just let Ramirez pitch later in the game.

I am thinking maybe I will go to the dinner with Boog, Benetti and Jeff Garland. It will probably be less annoying than watching this team play.

imagine if the cubs hadn’t pulled that one off last night and then this happened today. would almost be impossible to not fire SOMEBODY.

I would say this is the type of game that should make Tom ashamed, but Republicans are incapable of shame, so here we are

Damn Roberts gets pummeled too. Chapman going for the homer cycle.

What's the worst shutout loss at Wrigley?

22-0 to Pittsburgh on September 16, 1975. So, only about 6 runs to tie. Great.

(also, worst shutout loss in modern MLB history)

Would’ve guessed it was during the 45-69 peak dark age ngl
