  1. 22-0 to Pittsburgh on September 16, 1975. So, only about 6 runs to tie. Great. (also, worst shutout loss in modern MLB history)
  2. I try to be optimistic about this club, but this performance is just astounding. Still got 4 innings of this.
  3. I saw the score a couple of minutes ago and wrote it off. What the **** happened!? Where was that offense the last two games?
  4. Pirates starting Konnor Griffin in the leadoff is interesting.
  5. Haven’t had the time to pay attention to the Cubbies. Watched yesterday’s highlights, and it’s definitely not looking good entering this series. Cool to see Pedro Ramirez get his first hit, though.
  6. No other issues were found during post-race inspection, so that will do it for this year at the Speedway, and my updates for this thread. Before I sign off tonight, I should mention the recent deaths of both NASCAR driver Kyle Busch and former CART driver Alex Zanardi. May they rest in peace.
  7. Alex Palou has been issued a post-race penalty after IndyCar Officiating found an “unintentional” modification to the height of the front wing, per Bob Pockrass. Palou’s team will be fined $10,000 and 5 points. No other post-race inspection news at this time.
  8. FELIX ROSENQVIST BEATS DAVID MALUKAS IN A PHOTO FINISH TO WIN THE 110TH RUNNING OF THE INDIANAPOLIS 500! (Pending inspection) It is the closest finish in Indy 500 history with a margin of 0.018 seconds!
  9. Schumacher hits the wall in turn 2 and we are going to have a 1 lap shootout to decide the 110th Indy 500!
  10. Red flag has been lifted. Shootout coming soon.
  11. WE HAVE A RED FLAG WITH 8 TO GO! Caio Collet crashed on the backstretch and the car caught on fire. This just changed everything.
  12. O’Ward and Rosenqvist are up front and in the midst of a fuel saving battle that could end up being for the win.
  13. Apologies for not posting earlier, but we have been green for a while, and pit stops are happening as 3/4ths of this race has been completed. As of Lap 150: Simpson, Rosenqvist, O’Ward, Armstrong and Schumacher make up the top 5. It’s coming down to the wire folks
  14. Newgarden gets too far down on the apron during the restart and spins, hitting the turn 4 wall hard. Caution is out again.
  15. And yellow flag brought out again for rain in one of the turns. It might be like this for a while, folks. Malukas has the lead.
  16. Back to green at the speedway!
  17. Red flag has been brought out due to rain.
  18. Halfway through the race. As of Lap 100: Dixon leads; Palou, Malukas, Newgarden, and McLaughlin make up the rest of the top 5 as we prepare to go green again
  19. And now Rossi has smoke coming out of the rear and will be out of the race. Heck of a performance by him this race.
  20. Will Power blows out either a gearbox or motor, bringing out the 3rd caution of the day.
