weather looks very bad for this game (and this series). obviously tough to get the giants back in town after this, so they're going to try and squeeze it in when they can, but hopefully we avoid some sort of 1st/2nd inning rain delay situation.

robbie ray so far this year is basically just jameson taillon but not totally cooked yet. stack the righties, good time for bregman and dansby to see some balls land in the seats.

There might be a small window between 4-7, but more than likely there's gonna be a double header tomorrow or Sun

Yeh, they should probably just announce now a time change for around a 345 start, that when the radar shows it moving away.

In the past I would say they never do this. But they did this exact thing earlier this year. I think they only moved it one hour, but they did move it. Yep, looks like some time after 3 they can get this one in. They just might wait out a 2+ hr rain delay.

Sucks because I am driving to Coranado today and wanted to listen to the game. Now, it might be played right around the time I get there.

If the Cubs can go on a run, they have the right teams coming up.  Outside of a series against the Brewers and Cards they have a soft schedule until the all star break.

And honestly the Cardinals shouldn’t be considered a tough series. I know they are playing well, but it has to stop soon, right? I think the others in the central have staying power. But I can’t get behind the Cardinals being good all year.

If they finish over 75 wins I'll be shocked. I don't buy their rotation or Jordan Walker as an MVP candidate.

The Walker thing is unfortunately a lot more believable than the pitching holding up.  He was a top prospect for a reason and them jacking around with his swing really messed him up for a while.

What happened to the Giants offense lately?  When I checked about a month ago, they were one of the worst.  I just checked again, and found their offense is by far the best in MLB with 142 wRC+ in the last 15 days.
