Does the looming lockout make a player like Holmes more likely, less likely, or no change in terms of trying to get an extension done before the current CBA expires?
If we're penciling in Cabrera, Steele, Brown, and I guess Garrett into the rotation next year, we have roughly $100m to spend. Spotrac has Holmes' estimated market value at $23m, so let's just use that. Would leave around $75mish to address the corner OF spots and upgrade over Garrett if we'd prefer him to be a depth 6 man type until proven he can be healthy.
