I’m sorry, I just can’t get over the Poles extension. His draft record is absolutely deplorable, this is *still* a bottom 5 roster in the league, and we have multiple healthy scratches at positions of need.
Can’t believe Boyd was still in the game. Was obvious to anyone watching that LA was squaring him up batter after batter and that he was no longer fooling anyone out there.
A complete and utter humiliation on national television on all levels. Total coaching malpractice, abominable clock management, and a clear-as-day display of how poorly this roster and coaching staff were constructed.
Are there still Bears fans who think we should still just roll with Fields? If Stroud and Love this weekend doesn’t make it painfully obvious how far away we are at QB, not sure what will.
Can’t wait to see the final numbers on this thing. Coming into the off-season, I was thinking something like 12 / $500 million with as many opt-outs as he wants, but it sounds like the deal may be much higher than that.
If the Packers got the #1 pick and passed over Caleb Williams and Drake Maye to stick with a running QB who's thrown for 300 yards ONE TIME in 35 starts and fumbles a lot, we'd be laughing our heads off.
The only team I think might reasonably snatch away the #1 pick from the Panthers (and ergo, the Bears) are the Patriots. They have a pretty rough schedule down the stretch and man oh man do they look bad.
I'm fairly confident the Cardinals will scratch out another win somewhere.
I could also see the Panthers stealing a game or two somewhere, between the interim coach "bounce" and having an NFC South-heavy schedule down the stretch.
