For those who missed it, this ended up being an inning ending dp with no runs scored.

An 8-6-2-8 force out. Straight up Houdini horsefeathers.

Also Teoscar has absolutely no clue what he's doing on the field when he's not holding a bat

In fairness, no one really did but a handful of Brewers.

I’ll just keep telling myself plays like this aren’t sustainable

You want to know something funny? In a Slack I'm part of, someone described that play and how crazy it was without ever specifically saying which team was on which end. And I horsefeathers knew beyond all doubt the Brewers had benefited before I went to look up the video.

Yeah, I mean unless I’m missing something, there’s no reason he shouldn’t score there. There’s 1 out so he should be tagging, in which case it shouldn’t matter whether or not the CFer caught the ball. Just wait until he catches it and jog home. It’s tougher for the other runners since they won’t be tagging anyway (well the runner on second might be). But the runner on third should 100% score there.

What's the purpose of the yellow line?  Did that ball not hit the yellow line first?  In any case, it's fun watching Snell mow down the oompa-loompas.

I don't know the rules for sure, but I'm guessing because it bounced off Frelick's glove first?

Did it?  Okay, thought it hit the yellow line then bounced off his glove.

It did.  I don't know what the yellow line is for, but to me, as long as the ball stays inside of the wall, it's not a home run.  I could be wrong, though.

Way closer than it needed to be, only 2 hits for the little engine that could tonight.  And yet, this may have been there best chance at getting a win.

When healthy, Snell is extremely hard to hit.  He was great tonight.

Snell, Yamamoto, Ohtani and Glasnow are going to be hard to beat for anyone....especially a team that is scrapping together outs from anywhere.

Watching this post season makes it obvious the Cubs have to get better at starting pitching.....AND have them healthy and pitching good in October

Guys I am slow. Bear with me. How is that a double play? The ball was not caught.

Force play at home and then Contreras ran over to 3rd for the force play there.  Terrible baserunning by the guys on 2nd and 3rd for the Dodgers.

All kidding aside that was damn impressive by Snell, total control.  Don't think any team would have had a chance let alone the Brewers.

He was very impressive vs the Reds and Phillies also.

It was a force out at home. Hernandez didn’t get to the plate before the ball was relayed in. After Contreras caught the ball with his foot in home plate he then ran to third and stepped on it as well. The runner at second didn’t run to third. Force out at home and 3rd.

Ahhh. That's the part I've been missing. Had the sound for the Bears game on so I couldn't hear the explanation. I thought they were somehow counting the non catch in the outfield as a catch. I saw Contreras running towards third, but I don't recall seeing him actually run all the way to 3rd. I thought he was chasing someone back.
