You'd think the Cubs would have a good chance of winning with their "ACE" on the mound against someone who's on the downhill side of his career...but no, our "ACE" sucks! This is a huge loss!

 

Now that the Pirates and Stros can throw the rest of their crappy rotation out against the Cards and Crew...I don't think there's much hope for the rest of those series for Cub fans. And don't think it gets any easier for us...remember that guy Penny?? Yeah, he goes tomorrow..

If Cliff Floyd or Jacque made that play, Keener and others would be lining up to say how the old man overran it on his wheelchair and how terrible he is. But if Murton makes the same play you can't criticize THAT ONE PLAY?

 

It's truly incredible. If Lee or Ramirez or anyone on the team makes an error, people can call them out for making a bad play. It doesn't mean they're saying that they are a horrible person or should be to blame for all of the problems today.

 

Some of you are on his jock so hard that you can't admit when he makes a mistake without starting a strawman argument. It's pathetic. And I like Murt.

The Astros crappy rotation did pretty well against the Cubs. Honestly, the wierd thing about baseball is that the Cubs will probably light up Penny after struggling against all these other guys. It seems to work out that way a lot.

plus...i simply cannot agree with you in regards to pretty much handing the redbirds and the brewdogs series victories before the games are even played...

 

lots of baseball left here...a "loss" would be if anyone would have gained ground on us today...so far, we have been able to keep them at bay...all we need are a few more clutch victories and we inch closer...

Don't worry, Yost will find a way to make the Brewers lose no matter. There is a very tangible reason the team has 15 come from behind losses of 3+ runs this year, he has no clue at all how to run a bullpen. The Cubs have won the division as far as I'm concerned, the Cardinals don't have the talent right now and Yost renders the Brewers talent impotent.

The only saving grace about this disaster is the Brewers and Cards both lost (with MIL getting it's ML leading 15th loss after leading by 3 or more runs). This also means one more day in first place and another tick off the Magic Number... Having said that, it would have been nice to gain a game on both of them!
