Boy I hope so, Loiza is just the sort of pitcher the Cubs struggle against. It may have helped them facing Williams today. Edited by CubinNY

LOL in the one trip I've made to Chicago I stayed in the Hotel on Belmont. Living in Oklahoma my whole life definitely didn't prepare me for what went on at night on that street.

if Rothschild doesn't come up with a new plan for Luis Gonzalez this series, I may have to have some speaks with him after the game.

 

they dealt with him well in LA this year, but from 04-06 his OPS was 1.176 against the Cubs (1.257 at Wrigley), mostly due to Roths refusal to let any pitcher throw anything inside to him.

The Cardinals are playing Pittsburgh for four games while the Cubs play the Dodgers. That pretty much spells out what the Cubs need to do.

Yeah it's definitely go-time now. Seems to be little question the Cards will be winning at least 3/4.......high probability of a 4-game sweep. Pirates have packed it in.
