The only saving grace about this disaster is the Brewers and Cards both lost (with MIL getting it's ML leading 15th loss after leading by 3 or more runs). This also means one more day in first place and another tick off the Magic Number... Having said that, it would have been nice to gain a game on both of them!

 

Come on Gallagher!

 

This was a day you needed to take 2 ticks off the magic number..that's the most frustrating thing.

If Cliff Floyd or Jacque made that play, Keener and others would be lining up to say how the old man overran it on his wheelchair and how terrible he is. But if Murton makes the same play you can't criticize THAT ONE PLAY?

 

It's truly incredible. If Lee or Ramirez or anyone on the team makes an error, people can call them out for making a bad play. It doesn't mean they're saying that they are a horrible person or should be to blame for all of the problems today.

 

Some of you are on his jock so hard that you can't admit when he makes a mistake without starting a strawman argument. It's pathetic. And I like Murt.

Oh I'm not terribly offended or anything either. It was a bit of a dig but no big deal to myself. I'm used to posting on boards where people pretty much curse each other out and it's within the guidelines. ;)

 

I just don't see where it is ignorant to see something I agree with and acknowledge it with a quote. I mean really should I restate the exact same thing in two paragraphs of my own words or throw in QFT or I agree to make it better? I'm not huge on quoting like that very much but hey when the occasion arises, why not?

 

To each his own I guess.

Telling someone they are ignorant for no apparent reason is not welcome here.

 

These game threads are out of control. I understand it's difficult to control emotions sometimes, but posts like yours do nothing for this site.

 

If I had my choice, I would just lock up this game thread considering the behavior. It's absolutely embarrassing.

 

I didnt call him ignorant. And quoting a post and adding nothing to it adds nothing to the site as well.

How ticked were you when he double switched out Ryan Braun and then Braun's spot in the order came up in the eighth?

 

That doesn't bother me all that much. We had a 3 run lead, Braun is a horrible fielder. Now using the 15th best pitcher on the team to try to get out Pence with the game on the line... that bothers me.

 

I mean a smart person uses Cordero even though its the 8th but I know managers refuse to use closers properly. At least leave in Shouse instead of going to Greg Aquino.

Yeah, what's the harm in bringing up someone else specifically to use him in a game like this?

I like what he does at the plate, for the most part, and his defense in LF is serviceable. But he's a butcher in RF. He looks like a chicken with its head cut off out there.

kendall is out for a game or 2 to heal his hand which was swollen from the hbp yesterday.

 

z sucks again because he's mental.

 

Z just needs K. Hill catching him again. He dominated with Hill playing. Look at the stats.
