Most likely. Caleb supposedly looked pretty good in warm-ups today.

They showed some clips of him during the game today. He looked good.  🤞

I understand coming out of college Johnson wasn't the fastest DB, appears he's lost several steps, went from merely slow to super slow.

Also start to get the other receivers Walker, Thomas more snaps in place of Odunze.  For someone, who's was great in college, he's been a major disappointment. And, it's not like baseball, receivers who were great in college have translated that success to the NFL on many, many occasions.

Odunze started out looking good to me. It feels like he regressed. I don’t have any stats to support that or anything.

The coaches can’t be afraid to tell him the truth of where he stands as a passer. If he’s oblivious that’s a problem with him but also the coaching.

If he starts again,  hopefully Caleb is back and plays the rest of season,  but IF he ever starts again for the Bears, Ben just needs to keep routes simple and within 20 yards for Bagent and just keep the chains moving.

Keenum would be better at that gameplan

If Gordon comes back could that get Johnson off the field?  Maybe, move Muhammed?  Getting Johnson to bench as quick as possible is addition by subtraction.

Stevenson is not really any better than Johnson if Gordon is your nickel and Muhammad is your other corner. I’d trade for Nashon Wright who is getting basically no time on the field with the Jets.

Couldn’t hurt.

Our long national Bagent is actually good at football hallucination nightmare is over

Yes it is, I was under the impression he could get through the progressions, make the correct reads, he can't.  That was some Justin Fields-Mitch Trubisky horsefeathers we saw today.  Missing open check downs, not seeing defenders, all the same garbage.

Let’s pump the breaks a bit since it’s only Tyson’s  6th career start. Do You remember how Caleb did in his 6th career start? He went 23/29 for 226 yards and 4 touchdown passes.

Maybe they sit Caleb vs Falcons since the play Patriots 4 days later. Keenum should keep the game competitive

Holy horsefeathers show, Batman! Nothing worse than hosting a football party for your fellow Bears fans and the Bears perform like that against the f'n Packers. Luckily we had 7 other games on to entertain ourselves between horrific plays.

Plenty of blame to go around. But, who was the player running his mouth leading up to this game?

Well the Falcons managed to blow a lead at home last night against the Ravens’ backup QB. I think that Ravens D is a tad better than ours though.

Surely Ben knows now that Bagent is QB3…

I understand the trauma reaction to the Packers guys, but come on.  The Packers are a hot injured mess.  The Bears coaching staff is our "star player" and they're never injured.

I think our coaching staff was injured.

That was such a classic Bears-Packers meeting it felt like I entered a time portal. There are a lot of ways the Packers dominated us over the years but the main thing they did in our meetings over the course of my life: they always made it look like they were playing a completely different sport than the Bears. The Bears may play good defense, or they may barely keep it close, but then the Packers come in and do something the Bears (classically) could never do, like throw 3 bombs in a row that we couldn’t cover and score.

That had to be the most humiliating thing too: they threw 3 lollipop, rainbow bombs into the end zone and not once could the Bears do a single thing about it. It was made only more humiliating that Jaylon was able to draw an illegal hands to the face penalty to allow the Packers to throw ANOTHER one just to prove how effortlessly they could do it. At that point you should just pack it in.

We can’t let Caleb miss another game. I can’t watch classical Bears quarterbacking again. I can’t go back to that dark place.

DJ will leave his feet, catch a ball over his head, get popped by a safety, and hold onto to the ball for a reception. Rome seems to drop those same throws 4/5 times.

Rome Odunze sucks.

Considering his draft position, he is currently a bust.

Ben had a really bad day calling plays.  The jet sweeps in short yardage were just awful.

Caleb Williams 1165 career passes attempted, 14 total INT

Tyson Bagent 218 career passes attempted 9 total INT

Yeah, Bagent sucks. If you expand Bagent's INT rate to Caleb's 1165 career pass attempts you get 48 INT.

Maybe. But I prefer to make that statement after this season if Caleb can play the rest of the games. He was really good in the first half of last year.

And he stubbornly kept doing it.
