  1. KC is hearing the second year is a team option. If so, great deal.
  2. He's seeing it so well. His second walk on the night was a fantastic at-bat, laying off some good pitches.
  3. ... and there's a great example of someone who wasn't known as a 3-pointer shooter in college but improved it by his last year and was able to continue to improve in the NBA. Also a physical guard who can get to the rim and finish through contact. Sound familiar?
  4. Jimmy Butler is a good comp. The shooting will improve. It did last year. His FT% tells you that too. Again, like the pick a lot. You can surround those guys with shooters.
  5. I actually like the Swain pick. They are not one player away, they are building a roster.
  6. Alright let's have some fun. Who's the leading receiver for the Bears this year? Catches? Yards? Touchdowns? I actually think Rome leads in all three categories, but I could see people thinking otherwise. I think he's poised for a breakout year assuming he stays healthy.
  7. Agree. If they want to move up from #15 to get a guy I'm fine with. Just send the other team 12 2nd rounders and call it even.
  8. Not a SLAP guy.
  9. Isn't there a benefit to signing players after June 1st at this point? Not sure how the cap and all that works, but I know it's an important date.
  10. Two thoughts here: either the Bears are extremely smart and are forward thinking and the rest of the league will play copycat in the future, or they are just trying to be the smartest guys in the room and it doesn't work out. 1) Last year some were confused with the Bears selecting Loveland when they had Kmet. Well, they went a lot of 12 and it worked out extremely well. This year let's grab another skilled TE and and play a ton of 12 and 13 with 3 great blockers and athletes that can hurt you vertically. 2) Screw pass rushers we are going to cover really well on the backend with speed and good cover guys. Like someone said above, when the Bears DB's got healthy the defense ascended. This plays into the Poles line about now "QB can hold the ball a little longer". This seems risky but let's see it play out. I still think they grab a veteran DE before the season. I also think Booker is going to have a massive year.
  11. That's exactly where I'm at with each pick. I do think Jones becomes the Game 1 starter. They got "their guy" that helps their zone running scheme. Bradbury is decent but he was a move they had to make at the time. Leader and depth at the position. Amazing how much the Dalman retirement affected their offseason. Grab a DT and Edge today please. Dennis-Sutton seems like a DA guy.
  12. Im guessing they sign Cam Jordan after the draft.
  13. We all wanted Jacas but are we even sure Poles wanted him?
  14. After sleeping on it, I like first 3 picks overall. Good long-term picks as well as making immediate impacts in 2026. Good players and fit for this team. Thomas I just don't understand that high when you could have picked him today. Screw it, just use all your remaining picks on the DL and hope you get a lotto ticket.
