Preseason is over, games start in less than a week, Bears play in 10 days. Chicago is a 2.5 point road favorite with 9.5 over/under for wins.

I'm going to remain outrageously, unbelievably confident, arrogant even. I'm ready for the Football Gods to strike me down for my hubris. Why? 

 

Because Bryce Young is a terrible quarterback. I do not respect him. I will never respect him. He cannot play the position of Football Quarterback at the Pro Level. He is not qualified to play, and the Panthers will keep trotting him out there and hopefully they give him an extension, so they remain bad forever. 

 

I'm very happy this is their opening game so we can calibrate our expectations for this year. The Bears should outclass this team, they should probably embarrass them. If they don't, then we can adjust our expectations accordingly.
