It's not great but unfortunately, I think the East is better than the West now. They have two goliaths in SA and OKC, with Minnesota, Denver and LA behind them. The East just seems to have more depth so won't get the usual schedule bump until that changes again IMO. Can't wait to see this team play. I don't care that they'll win maybe 30 games, a lot to be excited about.

Doesn't sound super serious, though. Don't rush back and hope the Newman guy (Newman!) gets some good reps in.

I don't hate it, but I'd prefer a new corner or two before they address edge. They traded Gervon for a corner and a fifth, but it doesn't seem like he has played. WTF Poles? Atlanta gave Gervon a big deal and the Bears took scraps in return. Bring back Ian Cunningham?

Didn't we have some guys in the preseason play pretty well at rb? I'm quite certain rojo is the slowest and least explosive running back I've seen on the Bears. If Swift is banged up too they NEED to bring in someone.

I remember that Nats series well. You describe it accurately as it was a true battle. I was so happy we won and think it kind of helped validate the WS the year prior (not that it needed it but still good to at least make it back to the NLCS the year after it happened). We had a shot against the Dodgers but seemingly had run out of gas.

I am not into sports gambling or prediction markets, but I am thinking about putting down some cash on the Brewers to win it all this year. The Dodgers look dead and MKE looks like the clear team of destiny. Could Cleveland (or the Rays) give them a real shot? I don't follow the AL very closely and can't name 3 guys on either team. It just seems like it's the Brewers year and I should act accordingly. Either I would win money or see a very funny collapse.

Yesterday was so bad, every time I tried to watch I saw us do something stupid or frustrating. We have been so inconsistent week to week. I know a lot of that is the qb injury issues but problems seem deeper than that.

Need another corner before an edge I think. I co-sign the end of the Tyrique Stevenson experiment. He should be a backup and special teams guy, IMO.

I didn't hear it but apparently Dan Hampton and EOB and callers to their show seem to think Bagent is the answer at QB. They all think Caleb will cost too much and doesn't play in structure. No shade to him but I'm not putting my super bowl hopes on Tyson f'ing Bagent. Bears fans (at least the ones that call into talk radio) are massive idiots.

How does Petco rate as far as being a home run park? Hopefully Shota can give us an effective start there, he's been our most consistent starting pitcher this year.
