  1. Hopefully our best pass rusher, Kyler Gordon, is healthy next season. It is important to have good ends of course, but the Bears D seemed like it was performing best last year when Allen was bringing blitzes from unusual locations.
  2. How likely do we think it is that they sign one of the FA DE I've seen bandied about (Bosa, Cam Jordan, etc.)? Do they even have the money to do that? Sweat and Booker is a decent start but I'm not counting on Motivated Dayo and Shemar for too much as they're both coming off big injuries. Would love to add one more established guy.
  3. I'll say it: I love this draft for the Bears.
  4. It was fun watching the late innings of this game, I knew the Mets were going to Mets it up.
  5. Unfortunately 3 more years of the Pwill contract, but things are looking up. AKME was the Ryan Pace of the NBA. Please just hire someone competent.
  6. Ricketty Construction Co. 😕 I knew those bathrooms weren't ADA compliant as well!
  7. Despite all the incompetence the Bulls find themselves at a pivotal fork in the road moment. If they hire a good VP/GM and get a little lotto luck, they could really turn this thing around quickly. I know it's the Bulls but one good hire (like the Bears getting Ben Johnson) can really lock things into place. They don't have a Caleb Williams on their roster but the job is desirable enough as is. This could be a transformative offseason.
  8. I have a buddy who went to Denver and have been to a few hockey games there. Awesome place, go Pios!
  9. I'm not saying he's going to be great, but he was mocked to be drafted anywhere from 9 to 15 so not a reach. Might suck, may have been a bad decision, whatever. But he wasn't a reach. He looked pretty good in the summer league despite that funny picture of him getting dunked on.
  10. I look at the Bulls kind of like the Bears. Ownership is pretty clueless about the sport but they seem to acknowledge that. I also think they're willing to spend money and want to be good. They just don't know how to hire the right people, which is a huge problem. The Bears got the right people because they landed the #1 pick and have a star QB. They're going to have possibly two top-15 picks in this draft and ~$65 million in cap space. A good GM could turn this around quickly. Will they be able to find one?
  11. It's amazing how much my mood will be altered by losing to a conference opponent. I felt no stress for Houston but was sick before the Iowa game. Similarly I am confident and excited for UConn but if we win and match up against Michigan I'll really be going through it.
  12. I'm stuck in the office (on a legit beautiful game no less). Now I've got something to watch tonight with the porch opened up.
