    I love Friday night games but this is too late for me. Friday beers generally render me useless by about 8:30 local time.

    I had never really listened to any PCA interviews but he was on Pardon My Take this week and the guy is great. He just gets it, a very fun listen if you're interested.

    Agreed, I haven't been paying super close attention but I liked what I saw from Thieneman, Muhammed and VDB in the first preseason game. Wish Coby didn't get hurt to help Thieneman back there. I think those 3 will of course have rookie bumps but should be Day 1 contributors. I'm willing to be patient with the others, Iowa offensive linemen almost always pan out (but still glad they got Bradberry to bridge the gap).

    I believe the latest injury happened at a joint practice with the 49ers. The SUBSTATION claims another!

    I wonder if Zeferjahn is aware of "The Zephyr Song" 🤔 Instead of it being entrance music, it could be played when he gives up a dong (which is infrequent because he's good).

    Same, pitching has been fortified very well, and they even got a guy they can finally platoon Happ with. Even give PCA the day off. I feel great about this team down the stretch.

    Jed did great work at the trade deadline. This team is good and will be a very tough out in October.

    I saw Mo Baller is playing catcher for the Angels and nailed a stolen base attempt at second from his knees 👀

    I still feel bad for them over the WS loss last year. Imagine getting that close, I would be dead.

    Now I know why I've been seeing so many Yankee fans around town. They just finished up a series on the south side and now have 3 on the north. Pretty cool.

    Kylerman is a good player when he's on the field. I'm not giving up hope on him yet.

    All while the guy I and many others wanted at 15, Cameron Carr, has been shooting the lights out. Summer League often means nothing (Denzel Valentine MVP, Jalen Brunson LVP), but I am super concerned about Swain. Hell, the undrafted guys (Sellers, Awaka, a third guy I'm forgetting but has shot it well) look like they might become useful at some point. I still have some hope for Swain, but you've got to be sure about drafting a guy who hasn't been able to prove he can shoot.

    Same. You can tell Caleb has got *it*, but the rest of the team has not looked great. There seems to be a lid on the rim for all of Swain's drives. Hopefully those eventually start to drop.

    He already looks like a totally polished player on the offensive side. Very confident and comfortable handling the ball and his 3 pointer looks pure. He seems to play more like a wing on offense. I remember watching his college highlights and thinking he looks like a fish in water playing basketball. It's so great that we Bulls fans have a legit reason to be excited. We appear to have been truly blessed from the lottery gods.
