Kinda crazy how little faith people have in the Cubs coming back from a (checks score) 1 run deficit.  I get the offense isn't showing a lot here today, but it's hardly an impossible task, and it's not the Cubs haven't come back to win in this same series!

Unreal, thats a HR almost every day, and a double most other day

Sox had at least one that would have been a HR too. I’m sure there were others for both teams.

Ok, now it's a bit tougher.

I will take 2 of 3 every series. Cardinals series is the only one that bugged me. Time to go on the road and win more series.

It wouldn't have mattered in the grand scheme of things but that Taylor base running mistake still pisses me off.  Not used to seeing this team make mistakes like that

Agreed - it definitely wasn’t their day. Rest up and go get a series win in Seattle

I’ll take it too.  It just so happens we have the best team in baseball ahead of us and that adds pressure to win all the time because they will.  Imagine how awesome it would be to be in the AL Central or AL West.

Ever since Swanson went down they've been incapable of turning one. Bizarre

But it wasn't even like they were playing them badly.  I dunno...

That may have been the worst hitting performances of the year for the Cubs.  Look at the pitchers the White Sox threw out there, we are coming off two huge wins and you .... get two hits?!!

The Cubs announced that they have claimed infielder Gabriel Arias off waivers from the Mets. New York designated him for assignment earlier this week. Right-hander Phil Maton has been transferred to the 60-day injured list to open a 40-man spot. Arias is out of options and will also need an active roster spot once he reports to the team.

Former Top 100 prospect who has played every position except pitcher and catcher. Has some pop and plays solid defense but never put it all together in MLB. Still just 26. I rather him than Owen Miller right now.
