It won’t be. In fact, this might not be the last year we see him in a Cubs uniform considering the lockout and Jed’s bargain basement hunting.

Hopefully they start the pitcher they traded for. But, yes, if they don’t have another pitcher yet, release Taillon and start Assad.

Taillon now at 24 HR allowed this year, 4th worst in baseball. Leader has 27 allowed, next 2 tied with 25 allowed.  Taillon has pitched at least 30 less innings than the 3 above him

Totally agree. Time to move on from Taillon. He isn’t a guy who can pitch out of the pen, and I wouldn’t want him there anyway.
