Yesterday was extremely frustrating and then sad with the Ryno news, but I said coming into the series that 1 of 3, while not ideal, is acceptable so I'll save most of my irrational panic until after Wednesday's game if they for some reason get swept.

Seiya, Tucker and Busch aren't going to struggle forever, but would be nice for at least ONE of them to get hot. Seiya is the biggest concern for me, as he's striking out a ton. Tucker is at least drawing walks and making contact

Priester has been *really* good for about two months now, but at the same time our lineup eats sinker/slider righties alive.  Curious which one gives.

Albeit small sample sizes, most of the Cubs lineup has big numbers vs. Priester.

Figured Flexen was gonna be gone. His last four appearances are the stuff of nightmares.

They got some solid innings out of Flexen, more than I expected so I still consider that a win

I think the Cubs cutting Flexen and bringing up Hollowell has nothing to do with what happens next. It is the trade deadline so obviously something should happen in the next few days. With or without this recent transaction that would still be the case.

Someone needs to remind Seiya that he was crushing the ball when he was aggressive in the zone. SInce the ASB, he just leaves his bat on his shoulder until he has 2 strikes, then K's a ton. .135 average with 12 K's
