I imagine they'd fire Hahn first.

I think you're 100% wrong on this... They don't fire execs and Ken Williams was bumped upstairs. It's a well-known joke inside MLB about how much job security you have when you work for Reinsdorf and that organization.

I guarantee TLR gets fired before they ever demote/fire Hahn.

They've been so snakebitten by injuries in the early going that I imagine whoever the fall guy is would have a long leash unless things got really dire(e.g. 10+ games out by memorial day). I tend to think that TLR is the one far less safe than Hahn, but I wouldn't put much money on the most logical/rational operational processes coming from Reinsdorf's brain trust.

They've lost 9 out of 10 now and somehow are still only half a game out of 2nd and 3.5 games out of first. The AL central being absolutely terrible seems to be the only thing saving LaRussa/Hahn right now.

White Sox are now below .500 with a -30 RD. But rebuilds, roster/dynasty building and sustained success is easy I was told by their idiot fans and narratives around them.

So the White Sox are now 23 and 24 with a -46 run differential which is the 7th worst in baseball. The only thing saving them is that the 2nd and 5th worst run differentials also reside in the AL Central.

They had the greatest TOOTBLAN yesterday. One out, runners on 1st and 3rd. Hitter gets a fly ball to the left, runner at 3rd tags and lopes home. Runner on 1st tries taking 2nd, but is thrown out before the runner crosses the plate. Sox lost by 1 run

They also had the first two batters on base in the 9th. Abreu is on first, but TLR doesn't pinch run....because, you know, you need his bat in the lineup for extras. Next batter hits ibnto 5-4 DP, with a really close forceout at second. Probably any player on the WS beats the throw to second.

Holy horsefeathers....this is like Trump-level senility only in baseball. Might this be the straw that breaks the camel's back for TLR? I legitimately don't mind the White Sox at all anymore so I wouldn't hate it if they hired a new manager that would turn things around for them, but at the same time this horsefeathers is just hilarious and I want it to keep coming.
