Yikes for him. I feel no sympathy for the Dodgers though, they'll be fine.

Of course they will, Dustin May returned the day after they announced Buehler was done. And May was absolutely filthy in his rehab starts and his debut.

Waves and waves.

Strasburg shut down with "severe nerve damage."

Apparently his contract isn't insured so the Nats are paying $35m a year through 2026. Also, he and Corbin combine for $70m of the Nats payroll next year.

Syndergaard, de Grom, Harvey, Wheeler, Maatz - this rotation is gonna make the Mets nearly unbeatable.

I'd sort of already chalked up the Brewers trading one of Burnes/Woodruff this winter.  But this means they don't get the prospects or to reallocate the dollars.

Pretty tough first test for the FO post-Stearns

Woodruff has 2 years left under control, 1 of which he can't pitch. I think there's a significant chance the Brewers just don't offer him arbitration in 2024 and he becomes a FA. If he's willing to take like 5M to rehab in 2024 and like 15M on, what is effectively a 1 year deal in 2025, I think I'd be interested.

Woodruff is one year from FA.  The Brewers very well could non-tender him, though I would guess it’s more likely they agree to a short extension that makes it a more win/win proposition.  While there’s a business case for it, kicking him to the curb in this situation is the type of thing that can hurt with other players.
