If its plantar fasciitis, I can't see that being good for his ability to play SS at a high level.

It's a weird thing. It was awful for me first thing in the morning but was fine once I got loosened up. And it wasn't every day either. Not that I was trying to play pro baseball, but I was running 50+ miles a week at the time.

I'm a runner also, had plantar fasciitis for about six months last year. Like mul said, bad when I first got up in AM, but once loosened up, it was bearable Was able to continue running. It can go away with proper stretching/therapy. I haven't had any issues since last year.

PF is a mf'er. I fear the day it comes back for me.

i got it for the first time from going an hour on a treadmill this past winter. wasn't even a super intense hour. anyway, it took like a month to go away and was like a stabbing pain whenever i walked. awful.

any cardio i've done since has been low impact.

Am I the only one who never knew this?

The full name on Russell's birth certificate is Geoffreye O'Neal Addison Robert Watts Jr III.

Addison's unusual first name comes from a character played by actor Bruce Willis on the 1980s hit television show Moonlighting. His mother, Milany Ocampo-Russell, was a great fan of Willis and his character, detective David Addison, and decided to name her son after him. It is only a coincidence that Wrigley Field's address is 1060 W. Addison Street. His full name was much longer, with his original first name being the oddly-spelled Geoffreye; when his mother married his stepfather when Addison was 13, he got to choose the name he would go by and selected Addison, combined with his stepfather's last name of Russell.
