i wish the sixers would have traded iguodala. he's been having a diminished role in the offense (meaning he's not the obvious #1 option on offense any more), still is a good passer, rebounder and defender who would have made a difference to a good team. i'm resigned to the sixers being mired in average-ness without a true superstar for the foreseeable future, but dealing iguodala would have opened up evan turner to take a bigger role on offense. i guess it depends on what we'd get for iguodala... if it's a couple of first round picks from a good team, forget it... we get enough mediocre first round draft picks from making the playoffs and losing in the first round every year.

After tonight's loss to the Cavs (yes, the Cavs), the Knicks are just one game ahead of the 76ers for 6th in the East.

Hey, the Cavs have beaten Boston and the Lakers, too. They're a force.

Go figure.

Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan was busy Saturday defending his decision to trade Gerald Wallace, as well as playing a major role in getting a reluctant Joel Przybilla comfortable with his new boss.

In a brief interview with The Associated Press, Jordan said "I love the trade" that sent the former All-Star Wallace to Portland. While the backup center Przybilla was the only likely rotation player Charlotte got in return, Jordan says it gives his club "flexibility" to make future moves because it acquired two first-round picks and cleared salary-cap space.

"I think it's one of the best trades," Jordan said.

Bill Simmons tweeted his '08 mock draft with Chad Ford.

I know drafts are an inexact science, but holy crap was Ford particularly terrible. First, he defended Oden over Durant, then proceeded to say:

*Beasley would be awesome

*Love is the Adam Morrison of the '08 draft (wouldn't be a good rebounder)

*Didn't like Eric Gordon

*Darrell Arthur is a smooth scorer that reminds him of Antawn Jamison

*Liked Mario Chalmers a lot

*DeAndre Jordan would be a bust

I had my questions about Love, but nobody in their right mind ever questioned his ability to rebound in the NBA.

12 seconds left, up by one, 3 timeouts left and a dead ball on your possession, you call a timeout!

oh, looks like they wound up eventually doing that

edit: your plan probably shouldn't involve passing to a person standing out of bounds

That was one of the worst inbounds plays I've ever seen. Why are they drawing plays for Bill Walker anyways?

Eventually, Wade's going to have to start taking the important shots.

Bulls are now tied with the Heat in the loss column.

Agreed. But LeBron is a baby and probably won't go for it.

kevin love's line last night was absurd

-37 points on only 13 FGA (8-13)

-18-23 from the free thrown line

-oh and 23 boards

that's his 8th 20-20 game this season and he's been extremely close several other times

He's had a double-double in every game since November 19th

Chad Ford has questions about his rebounding.
