I hope this doesn't mean the Bulls overlook the Heat or anything in the playoffs (because odds are they will be playing them). I still think they are going to be a very tough out and are still legitimately one of the best teams in the league. I think they are just in a slump against good teams currently.

Bill Simmons posted this link on Facebook. Brilliant, I might add.

The NBA's first team to have a championship celebration the summer before the season.

That video brought my hatred of the Heat back to the surface. I was mixed on who I want to win if they play the Knicks in the playoffs but now I hope the Knicks sweep them.

Do you think Thibs will let the Bulls overlook any opponent in the playoffs? Do you think the Bulls even need Thibs to remind them? They will certainly have confidence going into a potential series, but at the same time, the Bulls have to know that all 3 of those games could have gone the other way with one play.

Bosh standing around doing nothing late in the game was hilarious.

i'd forgotten how shameful that display was. it says it all that the PA announcer would describe three guys as "your miami heat."

To be fair to the PA announcer, in July, that was basically the entire team (except Chalmers).

Why even respond to such a silly post.

What's so silly about my post? Everyone is trying to make it sound like the Heat are falling apart even though they are still a very good team. I'm just hoping the Bulls don't believe the hype if Miami is still having some issues when the playoffs start. That's all.

They are still a three seed, have one of the best defenses in the league and two of the best players in the league. Sure they have had issues in beating good teams but they are playing close games against those teams (aside from the Spurs) they just aren't closing games out. I don't see why they can't figure that out in a month and a half or so and make a run in the playoffs.

With the Bucks pounding the Cavs and Indiana getting smoked by Minnesota. Somehow the Bucks are 1.5 out of the 8th seed in the playoffs. LOL.

Looks like the Pacers have quit again. The inspired start under Vogel was just a fluke I guess. :(

Yeah but no matter what they still will have the same basic problems:

1) Bosh is soft.

2) Terrible bench.

3) No inside presence to speak of at either end of the court.

Unless Haslem is able to come back I don't see any of those things changing.

There was a really good article on ESPN.com on Monday I think that proved that historically, there is more of a correlation between blowing out bad teams in the regular season and playoff success, than winning close games against good teams and playoff success.

If that's the case, Miami should be in decent shape since they still have the best point differential in the East. They definitely blew out a lot of bad teams. I think they might be the exception though because they can't beat ANY good teams.
