This COULD get better. Izturis is part of a package for Maddux. It includes a minor leaguer, so I'll reserve judgement for the moment.

 

The likelihood that Izturis will play a lot for the Cubs probably negates any value a prospect could bring, but I'm more than willing to be shown to be wrong if this is true. Although you are the first to say anything about another prospect.

On the bright side, Izturis is a good defender and a GG winner IIRC.

 

 

On the not so bright side, Maddux also has won a GG (15 actually, or is it 16?)and hes probably a better hitter than Izturis.
