    Yeah... the 2 guys that were ahead of you are among the missing. WindyCity hasn't even logged on since last Monday, and pitchcs is in Washington going to the games, apparently doesn't have access to a computer. CT is going to continue until they lose one, then we'll put you back in there. Apologies! My mom ended up going in for surgery on Wednesday so the real world had to take priority over game threads. She's doing well now and at least the Cubs have been winning too!

    I'm in the same boat as you with Edwards in one of my leagues. 1 catch for 15 yards just isn't cutting it. I hate benching him, because you know he could go off in any given game.... I really hope they expand the playbook with Quinn and Braylon starts to get more involved.

    It's do or die time in Fantasy Football (and actually 'already dead' time for some) -- How's everyone doing in their FF leagues? In a 10-team PPR league that greatly values length of TDs, I'm 6-4 and in a 3-way tie for first place (2 division format, tied for third best record overall so I'm fortunate to be in the weaker division). In a 14-team league (traditional scoring, but return yards/TDs also count), I just took over sole possession of first place at 7-3. Good luck to everyone the rest of the way.

    They both have no-trade clauses, but I'd love a deal centered around a swap of Soriano for Beltran. I hated the length of the Sori signing from day 1 and it would be a good idea IMO if the Cubs could get out of it before his production really starts to drop. I think NY is one market that Alfonso would not mind waiving his no-trade clause to return to...

    I'm a glutton for punishment -- that and I already have a plane ticket. Too much of a hassle trying to sell our game 3 tickets at this point. Might as well see Dodger stadium and check that one off my list.

    The crowd was pathetically quiet I thought. My little section of the bleachers (behind Manny) seemed pretty good, but the crowd overall sounded dead -- even before the GS.

    I'll be there! Fly into LA on Saturday and meeting a buddy of mine who's driving down from Oakland. Got tickets for game 3 -- still working on game 4 (but hope the Cubs have swept LA by then anyway). Can't wait! :D
