Damn I was thinking Holmes might have been the first Cubs starter to get an out in the 8th but a 6 pitch walk and he won't make it through 7.  Fantastic performance either way.

Just got home and went to turn the game on...

MLB is doing a bang up job getting their product out there.  Field of Dreams game last night would have been nice to watch, but it was on Netflix.  Today's Friday afternoon Cubs game is only on Apple TV.

I can only assume they will continue to sell out for the highest dollar regardless of how difficult that makes it for fans to actually watch their product.

This is the Clay Holmes the Cubs need to do anything in the playoffs.  His first outing was frustrating, but obviously had to shake off some rust.  Now if we can get Brown and Palencia back and throwing well, we are in business.
