There is so much to speculate about this. Is Bruce just a FO/ownership hater or is he describing them this way because Craig and him have discussed frustration with Jed and co before?  This is wild

I feel like this was probably a text or PM meant to someone on the staff other than Craig. Craig seems to have utter disdain for Bruce if the media avails at Wrigley are any indication. Maybe one of the old-timers on the staff like Jon Mallee.

Bruce accidentally tweeting instead of DMing a coach and taking shots at Jed and Carter and calling them “twinkle dee and twinkle dum” instead of “tweedle dee and tweedle dum.”

And it took him 30+ minutes to delete it.

Can’t decide what the best part is.

I dunno.  Bruce and Craig have a clear Bromance that's entertaining to watch.  A great pair.

Anyways,  Bruce doesn't have much to cover the next few days so he probably got into the wine for dinner and mixed up his technology.

But tbh, a bit unnecessary of a shot.  Team is 12 games over .500.  I'm no fan of "twinkle dee and twinkle dum" but they are a part of this success too.

Then he doubled down after he got called out for it.  He's a native St. Louisan, so it all makes sense.  His reasoning is just so dumb, especially when he doubled down.

Anyone who knows even an ounce of baseball knows Vargas isn't even in the same universe as PCA.

Bruce adds very little to 670/104.3 and Marquee, has some of the worst English and grammar you’ll see from a media member in person and on Twitter, and is a constant defender of Jerry Reinsdorf. Nice to hear he is critical behind the scenes.

So for PCA to be considered league MVP, the Cubs would have to have finished exactly 3 games above 500 every single month from April-mid July and PCA would have to have finished each month with exactly 1.5 war. His detractors are comical.

Anyone not having PCA as a top 3-5 MVP is an idiot. Full stop. His excuse was even worse. He said after 58 games PCA was one of the worst players in the team. Excuse me! His WAR was 35th in baseball after 58 games, even without hitting well. If people want to put Ohtani, Alveraz and Wood in the conversation with him, fine. But putting  guys like Lopez, Dingler, Vargas and any other ridiculous person he added, over PCA is beyond stupid.
