How would you rate Hoyer top FA signings..

Taillon, Imanaga, Swanson, Maton, Bellinger,  Bregman

They’re fine. It’s the lack of top end draft and development

Jim Deshaies played 12 major league seasons, which equates to roughly 12 full years of major league service time. He pitched for six teams from 1984 through 1995, logging an 84-95 win-loss record, 951 strikeouts, and a 4.14 ERA across 257 games.

🤷

Service time is an exact calculation based on time spent on an active roster.  In 3 of his seasons he appeared in 2 games - he does not have 12 years official service time.  He has referred to this fact several times on air.  However feel free to believe he has 12 years.

Good question Alex, asking if they might employ some pinch hitters in the 9th. Guy’s a genuine savant, isn’t he?

Ok, guess Google needs to be made aware of it...   lmao

Yes, Jim Deshaies qualifies for Major League Baseball pension benefits. To vest in the MLB Pension Plan, a player needs a minimum of 43 days of Major League service time. Deshaies pitched in the majors for 12 seasons (1984–1995), accumulating well over 10 years of service time, which qualifies him to receive a full vested pension.

I did see now what youre saying,  only 9 full seasons and 3 with just 2 starts each year.

Two 10 game win streaks and a (give it a couple of days) 10 game losing streak in the same year probably hasn’t happened very often.

Suzuki pisses me off - how many times with two strikes and it’s close he sits and watches it. Go down swinging! Protect the horsefeathers plate - this is horsefeathers they teach little leaguers

I really think Craig gets future endeavored soon.

If Hoyer wants to try and save the season,  although it very very hard and unlikely with this rotation/pitching,  a manager change is his best route right now.

1.5 games out of last place in the division.

They'll be there in no time. Most likely stay there too.

People can say the whole, “it’s only the end of -May - relax” nonsense. It’s a third of the way through the season. No signs of life - pitching staff in disarray and simply put….,they’re just not that good. They had their streak of wins. 70-75 win team. I’d be cool to see them turn it around, but they’re just not built for it with injuries and management.

They are not firing Counsel. Please stop the nonsense. Don’t feed it.
