Mo Baller

ROY

Reminding me of when Schwarber first came up and his first couple months just getting big knocks, only difference is Mo showing more power than Schwarber did at the start.

The combined over / under for this game was really high. I can’t remember the exact number but it was more than all the other games I checked.  I thought it was two high and now we have five runs and only in the third.

And way way more contact.

What's super impressive to me is that this kid never got the boot back to Iowa last year or this year... Baez got demoted, Rizzo got demoted, Schwarber got demoted.  He's here to stay.  There has never been a moment where I've thought that he looks overmatched at the MLB level.

I know a lot of people comment on the Cubs announcers. But try listening to the other team announcers some time. I am stuck listening to the Az announcers. I live in Az so thr only broadcast I get is their people. They are going on and on about how unpressed they are with Kelly today. In the blast 2 days you would think Ian Happ is a HOF ballplayer. They are talking about his BLAZING speed. I know there are some combinations of broadcaster the Cubs have that we all don’t like. But when you hear others you realize yours aren’t that bad.

I'm watching the Az broadcast too.  Didn't realize that Brenly retired
