The homer in the 9th was a routine fly ball most other days. The bigger issue is his control. Either Rolison or Martin will go down or released once Theilbar comes back. Not really something we need to be that concerned about. Just get pen arms healthy and we don’t have to worry about either Martin or Rolison.

The Cubs have now been 10+ games over .500 at some point in 10 of the last 12 seasons:

2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2023, 2025, 2026

In 2024 we topped out at 8 games over and in 2022 I don’t think we were ever over .500. Pretty good run!
