I literally was just about to post this. He is so laughably bad.

I really don't understand why they keep him.  I don't know anyone who likes him and he's just so bad at it after years of doing it.  Pat must have a soft spot for him, but I really hope they aren't seriously grooming him as Pat's replacement.

I'd still like to believe Pat's replacement is in the South Side radio booth, pipe dream though it may be.

The only guy that should replace Pat is on the other side of town right now and I hope they realize that.

I would be a little surprised if Pat's replacement wasn't Len, honestly.

The Cubs love to use sentimentality and good will to hide overall spending patterns. And buying out Len Kasper from the White Sox (as well as him not having to supplant his family) feels like a really easy way for the Cubs to eventually not spend money on payroll one offseason.

I'd love to see Javier go deep into this game and set up the bullpen for the weekend well.

This didn’t age well. Oh well🤷

Why such a short leash with a six run lead?

First time at 80 pitches this year

And 2 lefties coming up. It was the right call, Theilbar just didn’t get the job done.

They took the guy out with a historic strand rate and his runners left on scored immediately.  Not smart Craig

Definitely an after the fact comment. 2 lefties coming up and Theilbar has been great. It was the right call. Theilbar just didn’t get the job done.

Not really, I was just trying to be funny.  I think most people don't believe strand rate is a legitimate trait a pitcher has for the most part.

Nico!

There was a time earlier this year where I did not think Nico would ever hit another HR for the rest of his life.  (and I still liked him as a contributor)

People say Kyle Tucker, PCA, Seiya etc, but as far as the MVP on this team it has been Nico Hoerner for me. Those others are solid players and I’m glad they’re Cubs, but Nico has been the steady and consistent on this team. As a hitter and a fielder. Atta man Nico 👍💪
