Great pitching on both sides today, sending Kelly on that medium flyball was the difference. 

Also, this wasn't even a 2 hour game 😅

I agree. I don't get the love.  I like the color but the logo looks weak.   Some variation of the pinstripe logo would have been better.

I guess it wasn't hit as hard as I thought.  96.9 mph off the bat.  Still a HR in 10/30 parks even with the wind factored in

I’m happy they won and all but they need to shorten the games. That was almost a full 2 hours.

Best Horton game of the year. He had control of his pitches. He's growing by leaps and bounds. They are going to need him to step up in the playoffs.

He has really grown on me as much as anyone. I’d like to see more Ks and fewer BBs, but you can’t argue with the run prevention results lately.

I am curious what the reduced time of games has done to concession revenue, and whether it is actually showing any measurable benefit in other areas.  Anecdotally, I haven't heard anyone say they are now attending or watching on TV because the games are shorter.

I think I recall reading a study conducted at MiLB parks, which found no appreciable difference.

It’s had a positive effect on viewership and attendance from everything I’ve read.  Anecdotally I’ve been watching a lot more games the last few years in large because of the faster pace of games, and to some extent the cubs have been watchable since 2023 as well more so than 21-22.
