IU blew a horsefeathering 22 point lead in Wisconsin. Haven't won in Madison since 1962, if my calculations are correct.

1998

Frustrating thing is this team should be undefeated. 27 turnovers at the cuse and this game they just stood around during the second half and watched XJ take to many stupid drives to the basket. Thankfully they have a PG coming in next year.

At least the defense is better then it was under Miller.

Was watching and kept thinking why is Woodson leaving Johnson in there to throw up bad shot after bad shot instead of feeding Jackson-Davis? Didn't make sense and clearly cost them the game.

Perhaps Woodson should have Coach Norman Dale come to practice and start demanding four passes before anyone shoots.

And Iowa getting destroyed on the boards again, Iowa State up by 10 in the first half. I knew that 7-0 start was mainly smoke and mirrors, sure Keegan Murray looks good but, this team has no chance on the boards, not good Daniel-San.

Uhmm...Rutgers? Maybe, just, maybe, Purdue isn't so superior after all.

Hell of a shot.

I love it when my second favorite team ( any team that is playing Purdue ) wins.

Seems IA St took notes that you shouldn’t just stop advancing the ball when Iowa provides 3/4 pressure

Have not looked at the schedule but, if the Illini get Iowa at home this season I believe they'll have that figured out. If Curbelo is back and healthy he'll probably be able to break their press by himself, the TO's resulting from the press are the only thing that kept the Illini from winning by 20+ plus themselves. It's going to be a long year for Iowa and I think its awesome.

Rookie coach and a bunch of random transfers walk into Louisville and win. DePaul might be pretty good. 8-1, only loss is a close one to Loyola. The Big East is a gauntlet and we’ve seen good starting DePaul teams get crushed by it but the new coach looks legit. Leitao was terrible X’s and O’s Coach who couldn’t make adjustments. Stubbs blows him away in that department

I like Illinois and root for the Big Ten in general (except Michigan). Since coming out to the Tucson area, I’ve sort of adopted the Arizona Wildcats as a team to root for. This year’s team is looking really, really good. They are one of the biggest/tallest teams in the NCAAs and have several shooters. The absolutely manhandled Michigan a couple of weeks ago, and today knocked off a very good Illini in Cham-bana. Excited to watch them in PAC-12 play.

That was a great game. Arizona is super talented and fun to watch play.

I liked what I saw out of Arizona the few times I’ve watched them play this year. Seems like a typical Arizona type/style team except they don’t have the gutless choking dog, scumbag, Sean Miller coaching it anymore.

Man Michigan straight up sucks this year. I did not see that coming

UCF is pretty good, a top 50 team. Not an easy road game. Their defense is predicated on making you shoot from deep.. 3rd highest 3PA/FGA against them. But yeah, Michigan’s shooters aren’t great. Nobody above like 36% from 3.

Illinois would be pretty scary with an all-B1G PG.

Fully expecting them to lose Thursday, because they always play like garbage against Maryland.

I admit I haven't been paying much attention so far. Is Curbelo going to take a red shirt at this point or is he still hoping to be able to play this year?

They mentioned on the broadcast that he was already doing five on fives and running scout team stuff. Said he'll be back soon.

The rules this year are a bit different, due to everyone getting a free eligibility year for last year. Anyone who plays in any game can't get a redshirt, so there's no chance of it this year for Curbelo. They're being super careful with him, because they rushed him back earlier just to play terrible for 2 games and lose both almost solely due to his play, which was clearly impeded by his condition.

Good news is that he's joining the shootaround and practicing with the team now, so a return is imminent if tthere are no further setbacks.
