  1. There are two insufferable posters in this thread
  2. Thanks Greg Zumach
  3. I think all that matters is the Cubs don't think Mervis and Busch are all that close
  4. It's just obnoxious at this point; who's had a non-disappointing offseason other than the Dodgers?
  5. Ha, Fedde is beyond terrible.
  6. How is the durability stuff overblown?
  7. How often do you think he's going to be going to Japan?
  8. Wind will be blowing in decently tonight, first team to 4 probably wins.
  9. You're getting some air time on WSCR (Bernstein & Holmes/Rahimi) today
  10. Ok wow, I had no idea there were three WC teams now.
  11. Abbott has been really good, Stroman has been really poor.
  12. McKinstry traded to Tigers for Carlos Guzman (RHP)
  13. Wouldn't that apply to Penn St as well?
  14. Is Braxton Jones a LT/T only? Because if so, I think they really like him.
  15. Yeah, I read that too. Any guesses who the 7 are? Assuming none are QBs, I'd think: Will Anderson, Devon Witherspoon, Tyree Wilson, Myles Murphy, Christian Gonzalez, Peter Skoronski, and depending on how they feel about the recent off-field stuff, Jalen Carter. I know they met with Bijan Robinson too, and he's as good of a talent as there is in this draft, but IDK if they'd consider him #1 overall. Drafting an OG at 1 overall would sure be something
  16. Tied with an assistant athletic trainer.
  17. Obviously Anderson is a terrific prospect, but it's also supposed a deep DE class, with plenty of early round talent. No saying how Poles will grade Anderson or Carter next to the other DL who will be available. But yea, if they stay at 1 or 2 to ensure their top choice, I won't be upset. I'd love to pickup that extra 2024 FRP, but theres no guarantee such opportunities will even present themselves. I'd be pretty upset if they stay at #1
  18. Pocic is from Chicago right? I know he went to Illinois. The local tie makes him a possibility, but I've always operated under the assumption they would give Patrick a shot to play the position he was brought in to play last year. Broke his hand in camp, then finally started at C and got hurt like 9 plays into it. That being said, he was a swing type player in GB so it's not an unfamiliar role for him. I prefer Risner. I'm surprised his projected contract is so reasonable per PFF (like 7M AAV). He seems to be a pretty solid guard. Pocic brothers are from Lemont, but it was Graham who went to Illinois. Ethan went to LSU.
  19. Luke, not Brendon If the question still stands then 65 homerless innings making starts with a 36% K rate and 54% GBs from a 4th round pick out of a JC could be going much worse Ahhh
  20. Agreed. It's been a long ass offseason but I've definitely come to appreciate how well rounded Davis the prospect's game is. He's both the skilled MiLB player in the org and the best overall athlete. All the hitters are chasing his patient, flyball oriented approach with all fields power and the ability to hit for average while maintaining an up the middle profile on defense ----- Props to the list with Little in the top 20. For a giant, healthy lefty with power stuff and approach, his excellent 2022 was very quiet. Back of the top 20 feels right since we're still talking about feasting on mostly A ball hitters at 21 at just under 3 innings a pop. He's not crazy far off from Palencia entering 2022, could have meaningful trade Value this summer Little had an excellent 2022?
