  1. Wisconsin is the team I'm most confident will horsefeathers the bed come March. Other than a win @ Purdue, what have they really done? They beat Houston and St Mary's, I guess.............?
  2. semantics. Would have been really easy to lose between Wisconsin and Purdue on the road at Indiana. Well, yeah, because winning at Indiana is really hard.
  3. Illini losing @ Indiana wouldn’t have been shocking at all, no. They were 2 point underdogs even. But knowing they have Purdue on deck I just got the sense they really knew they needed that one. If it would have been Penn St or Minnesota then yeah it could have been considered a trap game. But going into a rivals building with B10 title implications doesn't seem trap to me.
  4. If they beat IU on Saturday, they would be comfortably in the top 10 if not for the Maryland disaster. If they could ever get their whole team on the court at the same time . . . huge win at IU - this was a trap game for sure and to win by 17 on the road is big. How was that a trap game?
  5. Or just like, take the pitch, because it's an obvious ball? I dunno, just looks like a slider to me have you ever tried to hit a slider before? If it was the only pitch you saw maybe you can say that, but if its sandwiched between two Darvish fastballs I guarantee that you would swing at it, only to watch it fall away from you as you wildly try to correct in the follow-through Yes
  6. Or just like, take the pitch, because it's an obvious ball? I dunno, just looks like a slider to me
  7. Chandler Whitmer, now that’s a name a I haven’t heard for a while and certainly didn’t except to hear now. Started his college career at Illinois.
  8. Sully posts at Illini Inquirer (Illinois’ 247 site) and literally the only thing he ever posts about is bad reffing snd the other team not missing shots. He’s unbearable
  9. I was at the game and it was very cool. I went back and checked to see if Derozan had played Illinois when he was at USC for his one and done year (he hadn’t) and had completely forgotten that he’d been on the same team with Vucevic and Taj Gibson and was coached by Tim Floyd. They somehow were only sitting at 16-12 before peeling off a few wins in a row and winning the Pac12 tournament before losing to Mich St in the 2nd round of the NCAAs. How bad of a coach do you have to be to not at least make a final 4 with those guys? Vucevic was a freshman and averaged 11 mins and 2.6 PPG
  10. I think this would definitely hurt attendance for Junior Circuit teams.
  11. Ok so you’re guaranteed something but probably looking at T20 for more significant money. You’ve got a great Bengals matchup vs KC this week. Dallas/AZ is the only other total on the slate that’s above 46.
  12. UCF is pretty good, a top 50 team. Not an easy road game. Their defense is predicated on making you shoot from deep.. 3rd highest 3PA/FGA against them. But yeah, Michigan’s shooters aren’t great. Nobody above like 36% from 3.
  13. Interesting….what does like 10th place pay out? Best of luck, being in it this late is all you can really hope for.
  14. Yeah; I typically look to fade teams who won the first half of a back to back but Bulls -8 is screaming me in the face.
  15. Bears TT Over 19.5
  16. I was a big Ja >> Zion guy
  17. I mean, what option could you possibly have left in Week 14 that's better?
  18. I think Georgia is lucky OkSt lost the way this game is going I don’t think that would have mattered
  19. Yup, Vegas was BEGGING people to bet the Bulls at -1.5
  20. 40 teams...lmao There are like 6 watchable teams in the league as it is now
  21. As a very novice fan until WC rolls along, it seems as though the US 2nd half schedule is set up well? The easier opponents at home for 7-9 points and a shot to grab a few on the road at tougher opponents? Could they go worse than 2-0-1 at home?
  22. I think theres certain practice restrictions on practice if he's still on IR. Now he's a full participant in practice. Eta: this is from a 2020 memo, but I think this covers what a guy on IR can/can't do That makes sense. Why did they feel the need to include the team meetings part? I mean why would being on IR restrict you from that?
  23. Unless there's an IR deadline, why wouldn't you wait as close to when a player is ready to start the 21 day window? Doing it now makes me think he'll be out there vs. Ravens barring a setback in practice.
  24. I'm making the short drive from Irving Park to Milwaukee this evening. It sucks Kofi isn't playing, but I'm pretty pumped to get out to a game.
  25. Not sure how you could hire Todd Bowles as HC. Amazing defensive football mind, but not what's needed with this organization IMO
