    Your looking at the wrong thing. That's what would happen if they cut him. A good chuck of that is guaranteed salary that would transfer to a new teams books. If Spotrac is accurate TEN would only be on the hook for his signing bonuses from 27 on, about 22 M.

    Short term, I absolutely agree, Corner and Edge are more important right now if upgrades are possible. Mack etc.

    In addition to any possible injury concerns with Jackson they also probably need to replace Thuney in the next year or so. He is 33-34 this season, birthday in November, and will be playing in the last year of his contract next season at 34-35. His cap hit for next year is 28.5 M with a dead cap of 12 M. So, it seems reasonable to at least kick the tires.

    Oregon effectively had their season ended today ( 3rd loss ) vs Illinois. As I recall they were a trendy pick before the season to win it all this year.
