  1. You should probably pray on it. Ask god to help you understand what a rhetorical question is. Ask him to help you read the very next sentence. Then ask him to help you understand context. Specifically the part where three players are cited.
  2. I'm guessing you had a few beers today while watching football or something and that is causing your current reading comprehension problem?
  3. Huh? this has nothing to do with Carolina. I was pointing out that Dowdle ( last year ) and both Williams and Sanders ( this year ) have looked good/really good because of the Dallas O-Line. In addition, Sanders also looked good in 2022 behind the Eagles O-Line. Click the links if your not familiar with the players. They are basically replacement level players who have looked good when behind good or better O-line. Also I wasn't saying they were Gems, I was pointing out the exact opposite.
  4. Yup, I can easily see Oregon winning by 30 or more.
  5. Yeah, I have a feeling where both going to be disappointed.
  6. I don't drink, so I'm not crazy enough to think win. But could IU somehow not get totally blasted. Is that really to much to hope for?
  7. Yes, taking any RB and putting them on a better team, specifically behind a better O-Line, will make them look better. For example look at what Dowdle did in Dallas last year. 2020 UDFA who gets a chance in his fourth year. 1079 yards - 4.6 avg. Dallas let's him walk and this year they have ( through 5 games ) ... Williams 447 yards - 5.7 avg. Sanders 117 yards - 5.8 avg. Are we supposed to believe the Cowgirls just hit on back to back to back hidden Gems? Or, hear me out, maybe their O-Line is really bleeping good.
  8. LOL, no. It's not about the specific player. It's about taking any RB in R1, especially high in the first.
  9. RE: NY Giants 1-4 Unless there is a massive change of direction you have to think both GM and HC are gone at the end of the year. Meanwhile D. Jones and the Colts are 4-1 and Jones is on pace to have his best year ever.
  10. It would be really nice if Dart turned out to be something as it would further highlight the stupidity of the # 6 pick.
  11. So this Penn St. run problem gives glimmers of hope for Indiana. Assuming a loss to Oregon and a win at Penn St. ( still a big assumption ) then with an undefeated Oregon and Ohio St. meeting in the Big 10 Title game ( saving Indiana another Loss ) a 1 loss Indiana team should be a shoe in for the playoff.
  12. Butt fumble 2.0
  13. I think going for it was fine. A first down puts them at the somewhere around 7-9 yard line with three shots at the TD and a win. Whereas the tie still leaves around 3:30 on the clock. Pineiro, the SF kicker, is perfect on the year and 4-4 on the night ( 1 at 59 ) 13-16 on 50+ for his career. The kickoff gives them the ball around the 25-30 meaning they only need 35-40 yards. SF has 1 timeout left and the two minute warning. Thus the playbook is wide open and the defense has to be at least somewhat honest, the classic prevent yourself from winning defense BS. SF can sit back in shotgun and easily check into runs multiple times against a light box. nickle and dime down to field goal range. Two moderate chunk plays and field goal game over. Lastly it is Kyle calling the plays for SF. He sees them twice a year, spent the week preparing for them and just watched the Rams defensive game plan for 60+ minutes.
  14. If Spotrac is accurate then the contract part of the equation is not really as bad as it sounds. His cap % the next 3 years are 2025 3.57% - 2026 6.26% - 2027 7.95% Something else to keep in mind per the link above, of the 136 M in guarantees So in 2028 when his cap % goes to 11.38% his dead cap is only $17.6 M In 2029 when it gets to 18.05% his dead cap is only $8.8 M Also, I'm not sure if those cap % from 2026 on are based off this years cap # or if they included an estimated salary cap increase every year. So it is possible that those cap % could be some what lower.
  15. Going to need a lot of improvement between now and then. That could easily be an 0-7 stretch.
  16. Honestly I half expected them to fake the FG and hand it off to literally anyone.
  17. Really going to need a pick 6 to win this.
  18. This should be the plan from here on out. Load the box and make Geno throw it.
  19. Up until this point at least, it wouldn't be all that unreasonable for the NFL to step in and award both teams a loss.
  20. Hard to see on the replay, Did he drive his shoulder into the ground?
  21. I don't know why Pete is challenging it. If it is short they kick for three points. If it's a first Crosby gets 3 sacks and they have to punt.
  22. Yeah, probably spot on. I think it's reasonable to view them as a solid second tier type team but the top of the conference defiantly seems out of reach. I'm hoping they don't get crushed, but anything more would require a few WTF when you're living right kind of moments.
