I understand letting Farrell bat earlier but it's 1st and 3rd with 1 out. You need to win the game now.

I get that Joe is trying to save the bullpen, and we don't necessarily care all that much about Luke Farrell, but at what point is it irresponsible to keep him out there?

For whatever it’s worth, it would’ve had to have been Maples or Zastryzny unless you really wanted to push the phantom DL stuff with Rosario.

You are right. He did throw 84 pitches on May 22, so I guess he should still be ok.
