Jk I was losing my [expletive] too

I've been on this "chill out and stop overreacting" kick and I was about to throw it away and go circa 2008 UMfan up in this [expletive]

Love KB!!!

Bullpen is a still a dumpster fire if Maddon thinks Motte will hold leads, but Cubs Win tonight!!

People who blame Maddon for "misusing" the pen or putting Ross in with a 3 run lead are disregarded in my eyes. You want Grimm in? Look at what Grimm did in Cincinatti - Blew the game. Front office signed Soriano to help with late innings - he's a major league pitcher, if he can't get guys out, the Cubs shouldn't have signed him. Don't blame Maddon for having no choice but to use the pieces he's given. They are just really bad pieces.

Your standard is seemingly if a reliever blows ANY number of games they are never to be trusted with any big spot ever. It's hopelessly unrealistic. Odds are any shutdown reliever/big arm/whatever you want to call it they trade for or sign will, yes, blow games. It happens. The Cubs have several very good relievers, and at times they're not used as smartly as they could be used. Plus you've got a struggling offense that has left them in a ton of very close games.

I clicked back on the Yahoo gamecast and it had a final score of 8-7 for the Rockies - so I scroll down to see how Bryant got out and I see "HR" - came back here to make sure it was right!

We shouldn't have even been in another walkoff situation, but I'll [expletive] take it.

Now, in typical Cubs fashion, instead of taking this moment to springboard into a streak, we'll play another [expletive] filled game tomorrow and fall flat on our asses.

Why will you take it? You don't want them to make the playoffs. They don't deserve it and maddon needs the fire and passion.

WOOOOOOOOW

Bryant is a few feet away from that being his, like, 6th homerun in the past week. He's been slumping/striking out a ton lately, but hopefully these deep drives keep on coming.
