You can't blame Maddon for the bullpen. He's used them the same the last two months. It's been a matter of time before Motte imploded. Rondon has been better but there's a reason he's not the closer now: streaky. Strop's stuff is ok, but he's getting hit hard of late. Fact is, there's no one dependable. It's a HUGE weakness and people cling to numbers. Look at the numbers in high leverage situations - Strop, Motte and Rondon are so flipping bad. It's time to either tear down or make improvements. Improvements don't involve playing musical chairs with the relievers because they realize one person can't close because with what we have now: the next guy can't either.
