  2. I don't think anyone would hug him even if he was traded. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Castro removed because he was possibly traded Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Just doesn't make sense why Soriano is pitching at all. He's not fooling anybody. What are they thinking???? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. What are you talking about? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. It's almost like Maddon needs to have a closed door meeting, the Cubs need to make a trade or some weird ass road trip theme needs to happen to get these guys to pull together again. It doesn't look like they are worn down, it just looks like they are letting slumps be contagious. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. you cant be serious The biggest problem by far this year is the offense, and they made it very clear that they were putting most of the cards in with the idea that this team, now and going forward, was going to be driven primarily by the bats. I get underperforming and that there's development, and in no way did I expect them to be some kind of offensive juggernaut this year, but to be THIS bad as a team at the plate is hugely problematic. There's a pretty big gulf between being fantastic and how bad they are hitting. I think a lot of people are trying to compare expectations set by the first half of the season.. Those guys in Vegas aren't idiots. They are pretty damn close majority of the time when they set the +\-'s.. Cubs are right on track, however if they can get extremely hot and throw those projections off and win 88-90 games, they could find themselves playing in a one game playoff Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Gonzalez German warming up for Rockies.. Former Cub from earlier this year.. If he comes in and shuts the Cubs down after they let him go, we may need to accept and claim a new low. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. The Cubs weren't supposed to be that good this year. Most people projected them at 81-85 wins, which they'll still probably achieve. Most experts pegged 2016 as the start of their prime and they and we all knew this would be a painful year at times. They played awesome in the first half and we were spoiled. We'll probably see flashes of it again in the next two months, but the Cubs are playing right along with projections. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I don't see any reason to put more guys on base than you need to in a 3 run game against a below average pitcher. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. You have to turn in that run. That is so bad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. There has to be a trade before it's Beeler's turn again. My guess is it will be Ian Kennedy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Risky play by Soler. Play in front of you.. Don't advance. Sure it worked out, but not advised. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. The Cubs should be able to put together a 2-3 run inning at some point against Flande. Have to hope Wood & Co. can hold them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Just wish he would have had him warming up when Blackmon stepped in to leadoff the 1st. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
