Cubs are now 24-25 against sub-500 teams and 27-21 against +500 teams.

At least I think so. Have to check to see if any of those teams went from under to over or vice versa since the ASB

The Cubs and Rockies are good for at least one instant classic at Wrigley almost every year...

just off the top of my head:

-The Angel Hernandez/Ricky Gutierrez game in 2001

-Huge lead blown followed by rally with Soriano walkoff single in 2007

-Epic comeback capped by DeRosa game winning homer in 2008

-Chris Volstad throwing 6.2 shutout innings in 2012 (ok, no one remembers that, but I looked it up and laughed)

-"The John Baker game" last year

I want Soler to be benched for a mental day off. He was so lazy on two or three plays yesterday. Snapping bats in half too....dude needs a break.

I mean look at this [expletive], it should be inexcusable. Half asses the catch attempt then walks to go get the ball and lobs it back in. Even the Phillies announcer is like what the hell?

This is a ridiculous description.

It wasn't great. But he wasn't walking anywhere. He misplayed it, and then the ball died on the vines instead of bouncing off like he expected.

The Rockies scored 10 runs in the 3rd inning yesterday. We scored 8 runs vs. the Phillies over the weekend. And Carlos Gonzalez has been absolutely out of his mind the past month.

The Rockies are an insurmountable foe. 51-49. Book it!
