To be somewhat fair, he's been much better the last couple of weeks. I still have no interest in the Cubs bringing him back unless it's for dirt cheap and in a platoon.

I love all of you because you're Cubs fans. It's too bad if you guys don't see it that way too. Sports are supposed to overcome differences in personalities to me.....that is like the entire [expletive] point of sports.

he's also on pace for only slightly less war than derosa was that year, but we're not talking about that. if unremarkable derosa gets points for being cool, then so does fowler.

Alex Guerrero is being discussed in trade talks per Ken Rosenthal. That could be an interesting target for a platoon bat in the outfield.
