That takes some brass [expletive] balls for a 23 year old to go deep in that context

Whut.

THAT TAKES SOME BRASS [expletive] BALLS FOR A 23 YEAR OLD TO GO DEEP IN THAT CONTEXT

THAT'S A WEIRD TAKE ON A GUY WHOSE SOLE PURPOSE IN LIFE IS TO HIT A TON OF DONGS BUT OK.

I hope they miss the playoffs. They [expletive] deserve it.

I hope you have to live in North Dakota the rest of your life. You [expletive] deserve it.

No. He doesn't. That game was [expletive] brutal and you have to be a robot (or David) to not be breaking down by the end. Jesus dude, are you void of emotion? I got your back Ski.

I enjoy living in North Dakota, by the way.

And I stand by my point that this game never should have gone to the bottom of the ninth and a better reliever should have been put in. Celebrate the walkoff, sure, but it shouldn't have even been necessary. This season has been filled with [expletive] moments like that.

If there is any justice in this world, you will live out your days in a dingy North Dakota apartment, trying to turn up the volume on your anime cartoons to drown out the sound of your roommate CubbieBum banging his wife in the next bedroom.

This should set up a trade for Kimbrel and one of: Ross, Kennedy, Cashner. Coupling Kimbrel with them is more appealing for Padres due his 10mil+/year salary and works out well Cubs too. Kimbrel scares me through 2017 however with his stuff not being as missed this year. People have hit him a lot harder this year.

Impossible; he's proven.

You're like everyone saying that dude in the Woolworth's is bonafide.

So "don't look at the numbers look at their stuff" and then "let's trade for a big money closer who hasn't had good stuff this year"

I feel like this past weekend and top of the 9th ruined Len's spirits. He called that off the bat like it was a warning track fly out.

He's been very angsty latest battling Twitter trolls and complaining about them publicly. I think Cubs fans broke his spirit because he used to be so laid back and easy going

I turned that game off after the CarGo home to go to bed. Then said [expletive] it and turned it on my iPad. Glad I did.

Also, to the bullpen preacher, Strop's slider has one of the highest whiff% in baseball of any single pitch, so stop hanging out with meatballs that like ERA and pitcher wins. Motte needs to be replaced in his role and Soriano is terrible but the bullpen is not this team's biggest problem. If Fowler keeps getting on base this offense will come around because Rizzo and Bryant are actually pretty good at this baseball thing.

My point was that in order to get a starter like Ross or Cashner, you're going to have to take Kimbrel. Kimbrel's getting the job done now, but he's lost a step - read a scouting report - actually not just one, read several.

I'm pretty sure I said Strop's stuff was the best in the pen, even tho numbers say otherwise?

The average Cubs fan would say the Cubs need to improve their offense, which is just ridiculous. Their offense needs to develop and it is what it is right now - very young. It's going to make us happy as can be at times and make us want to pull our hair out other days. It would make no sense to make a drastic move for a hitter. A Zobrist trade or similar to him, that makes sense.

The Cubs need another starter who is at minimum consistent. Even an Ian Kennedy would be better than Beeler, Wada, or Wood. He'd be cheap and low-risk without risking any future. They also need 2 bullpen arms.

I think it's the other way around. His sprit had bedn a hollow shell for the past 5 years. He's finally reaching the point when he cares enough to fire back.
